Job Description
As an Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions that ensure secure access to resources while supporting our organization's business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policies, procedures, and technical solutions that enhance security and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and user provisioning.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM processes and systems to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to define and implement IAM policies and standards.
Develop and maintain user roles and access rights across various systems and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Monitor IAM systems for performance and security vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity.
Provide training and support to internal teams regarding IAM tools and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in identity and access management, including hands-on experience with IAM tools (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, SailPoint).
Strong understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, IAM) are a plus.
