Accounting Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Train and supervise junior accounting staff
Collaborate with the finance team to provide accurate and timely financial information
QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 4 years of experience in an accounting supervisor or senior accountant role preferably in the Retail Industry.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
