Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

Supervise the daily accounting transactions including bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare forecast revenues and budget reports. Appoint and train new accounting employees.
Check the progress of accounting and financial objectives.
Keep sensitive and important information confidential and ensure financial security.
Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
Master degree in Accounting will also be considered.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be an advantage.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Assistant, or a similar position in the Accounting Department.
Ability to ensure the accounting practices are in compliance with the laws.
Excellent working knowledge of accounting and procedures including account operations activities. Good working knowledge of accounting software.
Excellent leadership and management skills. Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to explain and discuss financial data with team members.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good time management skills. A keen eye on details for accuracy.
Great listening skills. Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to handle sensitive information.
