Accounting Officer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for permits and licenses, cheque preparations, recognizing future project expenses, quality review, analyzing and recording transactions, and attending internal and external training.
Record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in audits and budget preparation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Assess business processes within organizations to identify improvements related to accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
Ensure safeguards are in place to protect company resources.
Work on projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
Minimum of 8 years of solid experience in accounting. Specially in General Accounting, Cost and Tax
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and evaluation skills with attention to detail.
Able to perform reconciliations of general ledger entries by auditing past and current transactions
