Surveyor

1. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.

2. Process survey works data and generate maps and reports to be submitted to the requesting company.

3. Develop criteria for survey methods and procedures and verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculation of conducted surveys.

4. Conduct a survey to establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles.

5. Determines longitudes and latitude of important features and boundaries in survey areas using surveying instruments.

6. Writes description of property surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents.

7. Records the result of survey including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.

8. Calculates heights, depths, relative position, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.

9. Computes geodetic measurement and interprets survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of topographic features.
