Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Operations Heads is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the company. This role requires a strong background in architecture and engineering to ensure that operational processes are aligned with industry standards and project requirements. The Operations Head will lead a team, develop operational strategies, and ensure the efficient execution of projects while maintaining high quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of architectural and engineering projects.
Monitor operational performance and make data-driven decisions to improve productivity and quality.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
Ensure that all projects adhere to architectural and engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, including architects, engineers, and administrative staff.
Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive team engagement and productivity.
Develop and manage budgets for operational activities and projects, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize project efficiency and minimize costs.
Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to track budget performance and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded through effective communication and delivery of high-quality services.
Address and resolve client concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in architectural and engineering practices.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship and project outcomes.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements and innovation.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement and maintain competitive advantage.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master's degree or advanced certifications or relevant industry-specific credentials are highly desirable.
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in operations management within the architectural and engineering sectors. Experience in Business Process Outsourcing Industry is an advantage.
Proven experience in overseeing complex projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving operational efficiencies is essential.
In-depth knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, practices, standards, and industry regulations.
Demonstrated success in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a strong ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and managing a diverse team to achieve organizational goals.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience in budget development, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Ability to navigate and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
