Job Description
Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar supervisory role
Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies
Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to train and manage staff effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree is a plus
Responsibilities:
Supervise and oversee daily warehouse operations and activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
Ensure warehouse layout is optimized for maximum efficiency
Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate inventory replenishment
Train, coach, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring that they are performing their duties effectively and efficiently
Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for warehouse operations
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing warehousing and transportation
Communicate with logistics, and delivery team to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that arise
Analyze data and generate reports on warehouse operations and performance
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the organization.
