Job Description
As Asya’s Senior Interior Designer, you will work with talented leaders and colleagues to build and maintain Asya’s culture for interior design excellence, innovating and championing world class designs, creating superior design standards in the market, and win recognition for our clients and company. You will assist the Design Project Manager and manage clients and projects that will be assigned to you.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all projects seamlessly and effectively.
- Regularly report task updates and project status to Immediate Head and/or Interior Design Director.
- Ensure that clients and ID Directors requirements are complied with in a timely manner.
- Perform actual drawings, designs and detailing excellently.
- Prepare accurate SKP models.
- Prepare accurate FF & E, material and hardware specifications at par with the set standards.
- Prepare accurate furniture and accessories specifications, materials specifications, bathroom hardware, door hardware specifications at par with set standards.
- Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project.
- Assist Design Project Manager in concept development and preparation of 3D Model of the projects.
- Plan, design and furnish interiors of different project types based on established standards and parameters.
- Responsible for design and project presentation.
- Formulate designs that are practical and conducive to the intended purpose.
- Effectively follow through design direction and creatively translate set mood in all areas.
- Suggest and recommend options for materials and finishes for the digital Swatchboard and submit actual material board as part of the design deliverables.
- Consolidate archi/id drawings with MEPFS and other trades.
- Perform administrative tasks and make reports of the department.
- Exhibit winning attitude, deliver quality output and work with sense of urgency.
- Develop written and oral communication skills, keen to details, client facing skills, client and project management ability.
- Exemplify positive character and excellence in performance.
- Be a team player, work with honesty & integrity, and have a sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by your immediate superior from time-to-time
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
- With license in Interior Design.
- With experience in Interior Design Firm/ Design Firm.
- Required Skill/s: Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop.
- Projects handled range from mid-rise to high rise buildings, complex and commercial structures.
- Willing to work in Pasay area (Mall of Asia Complex).
- Can start ASAP.
