- The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) was created through Executive Order No. 272 (E.O.272), which directs the transfer of the Community Mortgage Program (CMP), Abot Kaya Pabahay Fund (AKPF) Program, and other social housing powers and functions of the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation to the SHFC. Under E.O. 272, the SHFC shall be the lead government agency to undertake social housing programs that will cater to the formal and informal sectors in the low-income bracket and shall take charge of developing and administering social housing program schemes, particularly the CMP and the AKPF Program (amortization support program and development financing program).

Training: 16 hours of relevant training
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: To be officially employed under DBP Service Corporation (DBPSC), but shall be assigned and deployed to Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) as an agency-hired employee.

WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays to Fridays (8 AM - 5 PM)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Research and technical writing
Sound methodologies on effective processes and procedures that will assist different corporate units to achieve their objectives and the overall corporate goals
Basic corporate planning and monitoring work
Creative problem-solving skills
Competent oral communication skills (ability to conduct presentation to a large number of people and/or SHFC senior officers)
Competent writing skills (ability to conduct critical analyses of issues/policies both external and internal related to planning policy and process analysis)
Ability to do multi-tasking work
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gathers and analyzes relevant data related to conduct of research studies and corporate planning activities;
2. Drafts communication/letters/memoranda, organizes files, schedules appointments, and supports other staff;
3. Handles the data management and filing for easy reference/retrieval of documents;
4. Attends and assists in the logistical and technical requirements during corporate planning sessions and other department/group activities;
5. Assists in the preparation of accomplishment reports on performance vis-à-vis corporate workplan targets;
6. Prepares budget materials needed for submission to the DBM, House of Representatives, and Senate budget hearings;
7. Formulates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates corporate strategies and operational policies to ensure attainment of corporate targets;
8. Assists corporate units (national and regional offices) in improving work systems and processes to efficiently and effectively meet corporate targets; and
9. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
