Job Description
Key responsibilities:
• Analyze monthly credit card transactions to identify spending patterns and highlight any discrepancies.
• Monitor actual credit card expenditures against the approved budget and financial forecasts.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on financial metrics and trends related to credit card usage.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and in-depth analysis of revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
• Support weekly cash flow reporting and projections to ensure liquidity management.
• Conduct financial research to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc financial projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Proven experience in financial analysis.
• Highly skilled in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Available to work 4 hours on-site and 4 hours remotely each day.
