Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation/Lodging Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reservations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and optimizing occupancy rates. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in providing a seamless booking experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Reservation Management: Process and manage reservations through various channels (phone, email, online platforms) while ensuring accurate entry of guest information and preferences.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering information about lodging options, amenities, and local attractions.
Booking Optimization: Monitor occupancy rates and assist in maximizing bookings through effective yield management and promotional strategies.
System Maintenance: Maintain and update reservation systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in tracking bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and sales teams to ensure that guest needs are met and that rooms are ready for arrivals.
Guest Communication: Send confirmation emails, pre-arrival information, and follow-up messages to enhance the guest experience.
Reporting: Generate reports on occupancy, revenue, and booking trends to assist management in strategic planning.

Qualifications:

High school diploma; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or hospitality is preferred.
Proficiency in reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with yield management strategies and hotel booking systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local attractions and services to assist guests effectively.
