IT Network and Security Manager

Job Summary: The IT Network and Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s network infrastructure and security measures. This role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data by implementing robust network solutions and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Lead the response to IT security incidents.
Implement and maintain network monitoring tools.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
Lead and manage IT projects related to network and security.
Prepare and present regular reports on network performance and security status.
Required Skills and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
Experience in managing IT projects, delivering them on time and within budget.
Attention to detail with a meticulous approach to network management and security.
Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and adapt to evolving threats.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5-7 years of experience in IT network and security roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH) are highly desirable.
