Latero/Auto-Denter

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing damage reports and executing repair tasks as detailed.
• Cleaning and maintaining the workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Demonstrating proficiency in removing and reinstalling all exterior panels.
• Filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to prepare them for repair.
• Masking and taping auto body surfaces in readiness for painting.
• Hammering out dents, buckles, and defects using appropriate tools such as blocks and hammers.
• Removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and securely bolting or welding replacement parts into position.
• Applying primers and performing repaints on surfaces as required.
• Repairing or replacing interior components affected by damage.
• Inspecting repaired vehicles and conducting test drives to ensure proper functionality under supervision.
• Operating soldering equipment or applying plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
• Following and completing quality control documentation provided by the manager.
• Pre-fitting parts on vehicles before finalizing repairs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensuring the safe and proper use of all tools and equipment.

Requirements:
• At least high school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an Auto-Denter, Auto Body Technician, or in a related field such as metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or auto body repair.
