Network Engineer

Job Summary
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and managing complex network solutions using Cisco technologies. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Cisco networking concepts, protocols, technologies, and products, and demonstrate expertise in planning, designing, implementing, and managing large-scale networks.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and architect complex network solutions using Cisco technologies based on business requirements, technical constraints, and network performance considerations.
2. Implement and configure Cisco networking devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, based on network design requirements.
3. Perform advanced configurations, including routing protocols, switching technologies, virtualization, security features, and quality of service (QoS) settings.
4. Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of network devices, and ensure proper operation and performance.
5. Implement and manage network security measures using Cisco security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IPS, ACLs, and other security features.
6. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
7. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, such as network outages, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks using advanced troubleshooting tools and techniques.
8. Optimize network performance by tuning network devices, protocols, and configurations.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.
10. Prepare reports and documentation to provide insights on network performance, availability, and security to stakeholders and management.
11. Lead and manage network projects, including planning, coordinating, and executing network implementation and migration projects.
12. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Cisco networking technologies and continuously enhance skills and knowledge through self-study, training, and certifications.
13. Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to junior network engineers, team members, and other stakeholders.
