Job Description:
As an SEO/Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to enhance our website’s visibility on search engines and managing our social media platforms to drive engagement, grow our audience, and support overall marketing goals. You will create compelling content, optimize web pages, and stay on top of the latest digital marketing trends while integrating advanced SEO techniques, social media strategies, and data-driven insights to drive growth and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive conversions.
- Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization, on-page SEO improvements, and content planning.
-Advanced SEO Techniques: Implement technical SEO best practices, including optimizing site speed, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup to enhance site visibility and performance on search engines.
-Local SEO: Develop and execute strategies for local SEO, including optimizing Google My Business listings, managing local citations, and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across platforms.
-Content Creation & Strategy Development: Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms and blog posts while developing a comprehensive content strategy aligned with SEO goals and brand voice.
-On-Page & Off-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and other on-page elements for SEO. Implement off-page SEO strategies such as link building and content distribution.
-Social Media Management: Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. Create, schedule, and post content that engages the audience and supports marketing campaigns.
-Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze website and social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and social media insights. Provide regular reports on SEO and social media metrics.
-Stay Updated on SEO & Social Media Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and social media marketing to ensure strategies remain effective.
-Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO and social media efforts with broader marketing goals and campaigns.
-Community Engagement: Engage with social media followers, respond to comments, and foster a positive online community around the brand.
-Ad Campaigns & Social Media Advertising Strategy: Plan, create, and manage paid social media and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to optimize engagement, conversions, and ROI.
-A/B Testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct A/B testing on website pages and social media posts to optimize content for better performance and conversions.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. (Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.)
Experience:
2+ years of experience in SEO and social media management.
Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and growing social media followings.
Technical Skills:
-Strong understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
-Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
-Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and HTML/CSS.
-Knowledge of keyword research tools and best practices.
-Proficiency in advanced SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Screaming Frog, GTmetrix) for in-depth SEO audits and performance analysis.
-Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
-Familiarity with social media algorithms and how they impact visibility and engagement.
-Experience in integrating SEO and social media strategies with email marketing campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with Paid Media: Experience managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
-Graphic Design Skills: Basic graphic design skills for creating visual content for social media.
-Video Content Creation: Experience in creating and editing video content for social platforms.

-HubSpot Content Marketing Certification
-Experience with Automation Tools: Experience using marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) to streamline content distribution and customer engagement processes.
-Cross-Platform Experience: Ability to manage SEO and social media strategies across multiple platforms, including emerging ones like TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
-B2B and B2C Experience: Experience in developing strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences, tailoring approaches based on the target demographic.
-Crisis Management Skills: Ability to manage online reputation and handle crisis communications effectively on social media platforms.
Additional Skills and Experience:
-Experience with API Integrations: Familiarity with APIs and tools like Zapier to automate workflows between various digital marketing tools and platforms.
-Local SEO Expertise: Proven experience in optimizing for local search and managing online reviews and local business listings.
-Advanced Analytics and Reporting: Strong data interpretation skills, including experience with Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other visualization tools for presenting SEO and social media data.
