Job Description

Job Summary:
-To review, validate and approve all transactions to ensure that system records are accurate, updated and recorded based on approval matrix.
-To ensure the timely recording of payables and payment journals.
-To review cheques prepared prior issuance.
-To review and validate accounts for adjustment and propose necessary adjustment entries.
-To propose accrual and prepayment adjusting entries.
-To prepare monthly schedules of identified accounts.
-To review and validate liquidation of advances.
-To prepare other special reports as needed.
-To prepare monthly aging payables.
-To generate, monitor and maintain Disbursement Books monthly.
-To maintain and safekeep Company documents regularly.
-To manage expenses to ensure compliance to tax rules and regulations and recommend tax saving initiatives.
-To ensure financial transactions are recorded in line with Company’s policy and procedures.
-To observe proper cut-off period in recording transactions.
-To provide requirements of external auditors as necessary.
-To commit in identifying areas and processes for improvements.
-To assist in fund allocation for payments monitoring.
-To supervise and coach the Accounts Payable Team.
-To perform other functions that maybe assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.

Qualifications:
-Graduate of BS in AccountancyEffective leader with experience in supervising and developing team members.
-2+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with PFRS and tax regulations.
-2+ years of experience in supervising and developing team members.
- Strong financial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset; experience in trading/distribution is a plus.
-Other professional certification is a plus
