Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Golden Century Marketing in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. What you'll be doing
• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare and analyse financial statements to provide insights that support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support business initiatives
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
What we're looking for
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the management industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrable experience in leading and developing a team of accounting professionals
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
