Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Provides emergency and palliative care and treatment to employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first-aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicine;

2. Assist company physician during check-ups and consultation.

3. Response to employee's health concern, give sound advice and referrals.

4. Assess and determine the health status of the employee which includes recommendations like sending home or back or fit to work:

5. Refers/transports ill employees to the hospital as necessary;

6. Conducts weekly inventory of medicines and medical supplies and submit monthly medicine consumption report to Accounting. Prepares purchase requisition of such as necessary to ensure availability at all times;

7. Conducts home visit or follow through of employees with chronic illnesses or on prolong sick leave as requested by immediate superior.

8. Coordinates and facilitate company wellness programs in promoting healthy and productive work environment.

9. Implements immunization programs to employees as well as to the dependents;

10. Conducts periodic plant tour to determine any possible health and safety hazards. Create health and safety awareness among employees;

11. Conducts periodic audit of canteen for sanitary and health controls and ensures their compliance to company requirements;

12. Conducts health education programs; raising awareness on prevention of communicable and contagious disease
