Solar laborer

Job Summary

To aid in coordination and execution of small/quick scale solar construction projects as scheduled and safe for all stakeholders with utmost quality based on international and internal company standards. To coordinate between and within team members as needed for each project, from office/admin works to delivery and execution of project. The end goal for a Solar Laborer is to build sustainable systems in a timely, neat, strategic, concise and of quality manner.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Solar PV Installation

Help out with any and all requirements for solar pv installations
Serve as the foreman for the installation
Install with the utmost quality and ensure that entire team has the same mindset
Be the bridge between subcontracted laborers and management team
Has knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on commercial construction projects preferred
Requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances and loud noise levels
Solar PV Maintenance

Offer assistance for more technical expertise during operations and maintenance works
Hands on work if needed for system upgrades during operations and maintenance
Office Works

Offer assistance in office electrical work and other necessary
Qualifications:

Education:

At least a high school graduate
Experience:

Has worked in a similar field and similar profession
Other:

Must be able to think strategically
Must be confident and assertive
2 years of experience in solar photovoltaic electrical work (preferred but not required)
Good understanding of solar design and string configuration
Basic electrical knowledge required
Skills:

Organized and detail-oriented
Fast learner and worker
Multi-tasker / Good at time management

Leadership and Personal effectiveness
Willing to travel and work long hours to finish emergency work
