Cost Engineer/ BS Electrical Engr Licensed/5 yrs in Costings/NCR

Position : Senior Costing Engineer
For Office base/Valenzuela City area
Qualifications / Education:
Electrical Engineering Graduates preferred License
with 5 years of experience in Costing

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Analysis:
- Supervise cost estimates for LV and MV Switchgears, Synchronizing Panels, Panelboards, ATS, MTS and Motor Controllers including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost assessments.
- Review and interpret electrical schematics and specifications to ensure accurate costing.
- Prepare and present cost estimates to project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Generate automated cost template to improve and expedite the costing process.
Project Budgeting and Control:
- Establish and maintain project budgets based on approved estimates.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing variances.
- Provide cost reports and financial updates to project managers and senior management.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize costs while maintaining project quality and performance.
Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:
- Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors for materials and services.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service delivery.
- Process Improvement and Documentation:
- Develop and implement best practices for cost estimation and project budgeting.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs and pricing information for use in future projects.
- Document and standardize cost estimation procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
