DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to various global projects. These projects range from building large, digitally disruptive applications to implementing innovative tools and processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with roles such as DevOps engineers, SCRUM Masters, Project Managers, Product Owners, and Architects. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the codebase, enhance our tech stack, and elevate our engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
Extend app functionalities using existing frameworks, particularly those heavily based on JSON.
Participate in design, planning, and development events, employing a Scrum approach to translate your knowledge into products and services.
Work on a Next.js-based frontend with next-pwa for Progressive Web Application (PWA) support.
Integrate external libraries such as Radix UI, Dexie.js, and Downshift.
Develop PWAs designed for offline functionality, particularly for vessels.
Collaborate with external systems and plugins like Auth0, Datadog, Dexie.js, and Radix UI.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Solid experience with Next.js, with additional insights in React and Typescript being a plus.
Experience working with UX/UI designers and Backend Developers.
Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD).
Strong technical understanding of UI and UX principles.
Ability to convert UI designs into usable user experiences.
Experience in eCommerce or with order flow processes.
Ability to stay current with rapidly evolving frontend technologies.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Scrum methodologies and frameworks.
Experience with release management through Azure DevOps for backlog and repository management.
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
Knowledge of REST API development with Swagger.
Experience with Datadog for observability.
