Job Description
The electrical engineer helps us advance our electrical systems and applications.
On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians and engineers to solve emerging issues. Ultimately, you will improve our company’s products and processes and contribute to its growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial purposes.
2. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
3. Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
4. Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
5. Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
6. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
7. Conduct periodic preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical equipment and facilities.
8. Supervising or training project team members.
9. Direct supervision of all project and activities.
10. Prepare fast- and slow-moving materials/ spare parts for all facilities and production equipment.
11. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
12. Working with a variety of technicians.
13. Prepare yearly budget
14. Perform other various tasks as instructed by immediate superior.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Registered Electrical Engineer
2. Proven expertise as an Electrical Engineer
3. Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
4. Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
5. Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
