NTM In-Charge

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Non-Tobacco Materials Receiving In-Charge receives, inspects and records shipments with raw material or products. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.
The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
2. Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
3. Unload packages from incoming trucks
4. Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
5. Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
6. Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
7. Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
8. Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
9. Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
10. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
11. Implement FIFO
12. Responsible in the issuance of materials to production and ensure all materials issued and requested is correct.
13. Ensure that all materials undergone QA sampling and testing with corresponding reports before accepting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Male
2. College Graduate
3. Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position is an advantage
4. Experience in operating forklifts
5. Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
6. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Basic math and recording abilities
2. Excellent organizational skills
3. Great communication and interpersonal abilities
4. Keen eye for detail
