Job Description

Primary Technical abilities:
1. System Administration in Windows Server Operating Systems (W2K3, W2K8R2, W2K12 and W2K19)
2. Knowledge in Security and Anti-Virus (McAfee and Kaspersky)
3. Knowledge in Patch Management
4. Knowledge in ITIL/ITSM framework
5. Knowledge in using a Scheduling Software (example: CA Unicenter Autosys)
6. Knowledge in using a Monitoring Software (example: CA Unicenter NSM, BMC, Solarwinds, or Microsoft SCOM…)
7. Knowledge in Databases (SQLServer, or/and Oracle)
8. Knowledge in Application (RMES or/and CFT Transfer)
9. Knowledge in the administration of a main Backup Software (Veeam, Commvault)
10. VMWare Administration
11. Experienced in ITIL framework
Secondary Technical abilities:
12. Knowledge in Web Application Server Administration
13. Competencies in IT Software and Hardware
14. System administration in Unix Operating Systems Linux RHEL 5.x or above (or HPUX 11.x)
15. Competences in IT Hardware
16. Competencies in Storage Management
17. Basic knowledge in Network
Behavior abilities:
1. 3-5 years of experience in system administration and troubleshooting.
2. Self motivated, eager to learn and grow in the I.S. profession
3. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
4. Customer service oriented
5. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory (French reading would be appreciated)
6. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations
7. Ability to Understand the business constraints
8. Willing to do some traveling
