Job Description

A Purchasing intern supports the Purchasing Department by assisting with various tasks related to acquiring goods and services for the organization. Here are common responsibilities for a purchasing intern:

Supplier Research: Assist in researching and identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their products, services, and pricing to support purchasing decisions.
Order Processing: Help with creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders. Ensure orders are placed accurately and follow up on delivery schedules.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain and update records of purchase orders, supplier information, and contract details in databases or spreadsheets.
Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers to request quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or invoices..
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and filing documents.
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand trends and innovations that could impact purchasing decisions and strategies.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring that purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
INTERNSHIP LOCATION: EO Corporate Office - Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City

QUALIFICATIONS:

Studying any of the Bachelor's degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Student’s signed Curriculum Vitae/ Resume
Signed School Endorsement
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by the authorized school representative.
Notarized written consent with valid ID from his/her parents or legal guardian. (Waiver shall not be allowed).
Copies of the following school documents:
a. A scanned copy of the School Identification Card

b. Proof of School Registration/ Enrollment with Class Schedule (Current Semester)
