Accounting Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
To handle the following: Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience in internal audit is required
- Preferably with at least 3 to 5 years managerial experience
- With experience in handling account receivables, inventory, fixed assets and bank reconciliation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily activities of Cost Accounting and AP staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in tasks like landed cost, payables, cost analysis, and monthly/year-end reports.
- Supervise billing clerks for Engineering, ensuring accurate and timely service and spare parts billing.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly inventory reports and financial statements.
- Analyze monthly cost of sales and adjust reports as needed.
- Conduct regular warehouse cycle counts and review processes for accuracy, recommending improvements.
- Analyze and schedule supplier advances, follow up on logistics issues.
- Monitor payments to project contractors and maintain accurate financial records.
- Participate in audits and reconciliations as needed.
- Oversee computations of landed cost, cost, and inventory reports.
- Maintain an updated Accounts Receivable Aging report and ensure proper application of collections.
- Ensure timely monthly bank reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
- Monitor fixed asset recording and inventory.
- Audit reports from Middle East branches.
- Evaluate and improve controls, systems, and procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
