Job Description

Education: Graduate of any four-year baccalaureate course

Years & Type of Experience

Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Must have experience in organizing and handling trainings.
Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and can work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Knowledgeable of all MS Office Applications.
Must have excellent oral and communications skills.
With experience relevant for this position and in the Maritime industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The Quality and Training Associate shall directly report to the QMR (Quality Management Representative) for the administration of the company’s Quality System relevant to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 and in the future, ISO 9001:2015.

2. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR to ensure that processes for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained.

3. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR in planning, organizing and implementation of Crew Conferences and Crew and Family Events.

4. The Quality and Training Associate shall be in-charge in monitoring the delivery of in-house trainings (MLC, PDOS, Anti-Piracy) and ensure the smooth flow of training.

5. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR in monitoring the delivery of monthly Healthy Lifestyle Seminar for Songa Crew.

6. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR in preparation of documentation requirements to any existing and new accreditation of Seacrest (government bodies).

7. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR during any trainings/meeting spearheaded by the QMR.

8. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR in preparation for the reports during Management Review.

9. The Quality and Training Associate shall assist the QMR during Principal Audits.

10. The Quality and Training Associate shall be in-charge of entertaining any queries from other Departments on the absence of the QMR.

11. Shall be responsible for other tasks as maybe assigned from time to time by the Company.
