Transport Supervisor

Qualifications:
-College graduate of Operations Management or any relevant courses.
-Preferably with knowledge in WMS
-At least 3 years working experience as Transport Supervisor.
-Excellent time management skills.
-Knowledgeable in computer : MS Offices (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc.)
-Knowledge of preventative maintenance & corrective maintenance principles.
-Knowledge of principles and techniques routes scheduling.
-Skills in driving cars, vans, trucks, mini-buses and fork-lift trucks.
-Can start asap.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Conduct a cost analysis on daily deliveries to ensure that they are less than the stipulated delivery cost.
-Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
-Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure vehicle and MHE are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime.
-Keep track of delivery progress daily for all customers and store outlets using the Global Positioning System (GPS).
-Performs duties as Fleet Coordinator. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, inventory.
-Monitor and analyze motorpool operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
-Oversee the procuremet of parts, materials, equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
