Cost Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Reviewing of plans and preparing cost proposals for the variations and change orders.
Gather data and quantification of installed materials to verify progress & accomplishments of the project.
Review proposed cost changes with construction personnel, clients, and contractors.
Assistance in preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
Assistance to determine project scope, define requirements, works with project team and other departments to coordinate production, meet deadlines and client requirements.
Assistance in monitoring project total expenditure including checking and verifying of claims.
Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery and completion of the project work

Basic Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft office application (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Adept in materials usage of electrical and electronic basic components (wires, conduits, electrical / electronic devices).
Capable of understanding construction plans. Strong Mathematical and Analytical analysis.
Willing to be assigned at project sites outside of Metro Manila.
Knowledgeable in construction and engineering process current trend is a plus point.
Prior fieldwork experience is an advantage.
Negotiation, Planning & Time Management Skills.
Knowledge of cost control, cost benefit and risk management.
