Job Description:
1. Set Maintenance Division long, medium- and short-term goals and objectives in line with MOP objectives.
2. Ensure that safe work rules and practices are understood, implemented and consistently followed by Mine Maintenance Division employees and all service contractors.
3. Identifies critical contingencies affecting the Mine Maintenance operation in the next 5-10 years in terms of economic, environmental, social and physical conditions and forecasts future conditions.
4. Define, follow-up and optimize Mine Maintenance expenses.
5. Ensure adoption and adherence to company’s standards, norms and best practices.
6. Manage the performance of the Mine Maintenance Division, including effective use of the Performance Indicators.
7. Ensure the management of individual performance.
8. Ensure regulatory compliance of maintenance activities.
9. Inform the Maintenance community about local best practices, difficulties & results.
10. Contribute to the achievement of production, quality, environment, reliability and utilization targets.
11. Contribute to the conception, acceptance and integration of new equipment and installations.
12. Contribute to spares stock optimization in co-operation with the other departments concerned.
13. Validate work orders for significant repairs in terms of cost and techniques
14. Review priorities assigned to work orders and all planned activities
15. Be dedicated to the development of successors and individuals who have potential for further responsibility. To be involved in the identification, assessment, development planning and review of successors.

Qualifications: Registered or Licensed Professional
Work experience in related field: 10 years and up
Compensation Budget: 150,000.00
