CPA General Accountant (Ortigas Center Pasig)

Job Description

* Recording to reporting business transactions.
* Process tax filings - EWT, Compensation, Fringe benefit, VAT, ITR.
* Assist staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
* Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
* Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
* Liaise with department heads to ensure that each department adheres within budget.
* Accurately prepare tax returns and ensure that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
* Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts..
* Ensure that the company is compliant with accounting and BIR legislations.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or CPA
* Preferably from a manufacturing company -- but not required.
* With background in Manufacturing or Export.
* With at least 2-3 years tax experience.
* Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Has ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Has strong management and leadership skills.
* Has effective communication skills.
* Male or Female at least 25-30 years old.

Salary: P25K - 30K
Work sched: 7:30am to 4:30pm
