Logistics Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE:

-Perform the necessary supervision and administrative support to logistical operations in consonance to the
project and client’s plans and targets with the end view of meeting or exceeding management, project,
client/principal and contractors/ subcontractors’ objectives, standards and expectations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS
- Vessel/Aircraft Entry/Exit Activities – Leads coordination and arrangements for the foreign and local
Customs, Immigration, Quarantine and Coast Guard, CAAP, PNP, PNRI, PDEA, PNP-ASG and other
clearances of foreign and local vessels and aircrafts arriving and departing the ports anywhere in the
Philippines.
- Crew Change – Assist and monitors coordination on crew change and other personnel movements of project
principals, clients and their vessel/aircraft/s, including those of their contractors and subcontractors.
- Regulatory Permitting – knowledgeable to all procedures, requirements, documentations and proper
channels, including those of certain local government and private agencies for purposes of applying and
securing local government-related permits, licenses , clearances, certifications, endorsements and the like
in order to ensure prompt and effective delivery or handling and monitoring of operational and logistical
requirements of clients/principals or project.
- Local Purchasing and Delivery - supervision and monitoring of purchases, movements, transportation,
handling, storage and withdrawal, including documentation, of materials to/from the vessel (at berth or on
anchorage), aircraft, warehouse and stockyard.
- Field Operations – Project lead to ensure prompt and complete supply and delivery of services and goods as
proposed and agreed with the client/principal in the contract/s. Establish and maintain mutually beneficial
working relationship with the local government agencies and contractors/subcontractors
- IHS Reporting - Research and reporting of Oil & Gas & Renewable related activity to IHS Market
- Customs and Brokerage – Supervision of the Import/Export operations
• Prepares the documents related to application of Tax Exemption Certificates (TECs).
• Liaises with government agencies to secure TECs for shipments, in coordination with client/operator.
• Secures pre-shipment import or export permits from government agencies.
• Encodes import TEC records in the database
• Assist in preparation of Inward or Outward Manifest for the Import or Export Clearance of cargoes.
• Submits report to the Department of Energy for the re-exported items after the exploration projects.
• Maybe assigned as offshore cargo clearance representative on oilfield exploration projects.
• Secure import permits/clearances or exemptions related to import shipments
• Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned from time-to-time by immediate superior,
Department Head and/or CEO.
