Job Description

MEP Department Deputy Manager (2IC)
Support the MEP Manager in his daily duties and be his deputy as and when required, undertaking managerial, organizational and disciplinary activities as directed, actively participating in and supporting departmental Business Development including making sales. This is a significant role within the business and brings with it additional duties and responsibilities for the management of all MEP sections.
The Key Results Areas (2IC) mirror those of the MEP Manager. Over time you will be expected to demonstrate capability in each area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Electrical Engineering graduate
• With at least 10 years progressive work experience, A minimum of 5 years in Design / Consulting
• Firm and 3 to 5 years as lead engineer in MEP design / services coordination related works in a construction firm
• With well-developed working knowledge of MEP Services and Systems design
• With working knowledge of various international and local Electrical and Building Codes and Standards
• Ability to use Revit a key advantage
• Preferably a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer
• Experience in Industrial and Infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Must be proficient in English communication to an international level
• Must have developed working knowledge of the use and application of various design software packages with particular knowledge of environmental / sustainable design methods.
