Head of Product Proposition

Job Overview:
Our client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking an experienced Head of Product Proposition to join their dynamic team! In this role, you will lead a team of product managers in designing and implementing new life and medical insurance products, while also enhancing existing offerings to maximize profitability and sustainability for the company.

This position is based in Makati City; under hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:
- Manages product development projects that involve new products, product revamps, and quick wins in line with the company’s gating process.
- Collaborates with the various teams in the organization.
- Manages the company’s product portfolio to ensure new business sales and profit margin targets are met.
- Supports the customer segment teams in the creation of marketing and training materials to make sure all product details are accurate and can be well understood by the distribution channel.
- Oversees the development of product contracts and other regulatory submissions and liaises with Insurance Commission for regulatory approval of the new products and enhancements.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Studies, Marketing Management, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Minimum requirement of at least associate level in Actuary.
- 10 years of related experience in life insurance, with a focus on product development or pricing.
- At least 2 years in a director or head capacity, or more than 3 years in managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in marketing management, product management, project management, and/or actuarial-related functions in the life insurance sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strength in leadership.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
