Chemist/Chemical Technician

Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
Must be a licensed Chemist or a registered Chemical Technician
Work in a laboratory specializing in water sample analysis and environmental sample analysis is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office
Highly organized and systematic
Must be flexible and willing to extend working hours
Preferably 1-4 years laboratory experience
Fresh graduate are also encourage to apply

Job Description:
Conducts chemical, physical and Bacteriological water testing.
Encodes and check test results
Prepares inventory of laboratory glass wares chemicals and equipment that shall be reported on a monthly basis.
Conducts water sampling as needed
Recommends/suggest solutions to water test result/findings
Cleans glassware and other instruments in the laboratory
Handles and prepares report on calibration of laboratory instrument
Handles inquiries on technical aspects especially on areas of specialization
Prepares and submit daily accomplishment report and monthly update on the number of sample received
Will be responsible in the preparation of analyst report form, test results, breakage report form, stock card and other forms related in laboratory
Supervise inventory of stocks, chemicals and other supplies.
Perform other functions that may assign from time to time
