Job Description
•Proficient in both English and Traditional Mandarin or Cantonese, Fookien (speaking, reading and writing).
• Fluency in English and proficiency in either Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese or Fookien) English or Tagalog.
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent linguistic and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and nuance.
• Strong cultural competence and awareness, with the ability to adapt language and communication style to diverse audiences.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is for full time employment.
• Maintain the tone, style, and context of the original content while ensuring clarity and coherence in the translated version.
• Stay updated on industry trends, language usage, and cultural nuances to enhance translation quality and effectiveness.
