Job Description
Preferably Architecture or Industrial Designer
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Background in Sketch-up and Auto-Cad
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Cost Estimate in Furniture Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
Flexible and ability to work under pressure
* Prepares cost estimates and ensures all appropriate materials and tools are available.
* Checks technical designs, plans, drawings to ensure that they are being followed accurately
* Understands approved Build Plan and creates a MATREQ
* Get MATREQ approval from Operations Director
* Reviews Order Agreements to ensure that MATREQ specifications are aligned with items sold
* Ensure that all Sales requests for costings are served in a timely manner
* Upon confirmed client order, get approval for the Purchase Plan and forward to Purchasing
* Documents and reports all causes of time saving or delay
* Assists in research to improve quality or bring down price through materials and labor
*Makes summaries of project requirements for production
