Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans. You will be responsible for market development, manpower management, fostering internal and external relationships, overseeing project management, and training staff to create a knowledgeable and efficient marketing team. This role requires strong communication skills in English and Japanese and at least five years of experience in digital marketing management, with a preference for candidates with experience in online gaming.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Market Development
- Develop comprehensive business plans and strategies to target acquisition, retention, and channel promotions.
- Engage with affiliates and agents to drive and monitor business strategies.
- Allocate and control marketing expenditures effectively.
- Interpret and present report findings to penetrate growing markets and expand mature markets.
- Work towards achieving market growth goals for the upcoming year.

2. Manpower Management
- Determine organizational structure and manpower requirements for key marketing functions and operations.
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates to build a competent marketing team.
- Guide and motivate staff to align their efforts with marketing targets and goals.
- Mitigate staff-related incidents to maintain a balanced and effective workforce.

3. Internal and External Relationships
- Request, negotiate, and create agreements with internal and external parties.
- Engage new channels and partners to enhance marketing efforts.
- Resolve incidents promptly to ensure smooth work processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to achieve marketing plans.

4. Project Management
- Facilitate and analyze business requirements for various marketing projects.
- Plan and organize projects to realize their goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion.

5. Training
- Coach and advise staff on work performance and areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance on work processes to enhance efficiency and knowledge within the team.
- Develop training programs to create an independently knowledgeable workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a digital marketing management role.
- Experience in the online gaming industry.
- Proficient in marketing within the Japanese region.
- Background in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) marketing.
