Job Description

Regular Tasks:
1. Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations and analysis, including but not limited to, Cash
Reconciliation, Cash-Flow Movements and Account Payable Aging;
2. Validate supplier invoice against approved Purchase Order (PO), contracts or other
supporting documents as applicable;
3. Prepare checks and Letter of Authority (LOA) for suppliers, employees, government
remittances, other bank transfer transactions on a timely basis;
4. Maintain fixed asset and inventory register and participate in the periodic physical count;
5. Handle supplier accreditation and gathering of necessary requirements in accordance with
Supplier Management Procedures;
6. Submit monthly reports such as Regulatory Reports and Filings (Withholding Taxes, VAT), Accruals, Prepayments and Expenses Schedules;
7. Assist in preparation/submission of audit requirements during annual financial statement
audit;
8. Liaise with supplier, Equicom Bank, auditors, other Departments and stakeholders; and
9. Maintain proper file archiving and other ad-hoc task or function as deemed necessary.

Qualifications for the Position:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent;
2. Preferably with 1-2 years experience in the related field; and
3. Can work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision. 4. Familiar with BIR and other statutory requirements
5. Computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Excel basic formulas such as Vlookup, Pivot etc. 6. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
7. Analytical and with keen attention to detail
