Revenue Accounting Associate - WFH

The main responsibilities of a REVENUE ACCOUNTING - ASSOCIATE include:

Prepare and maintain monthly close schedule
Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist in overseeing activity in several revenue and deferred revenue accounts
Assist the accounting team through successful annual financial audits
Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and flux reviews
Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary
Work collaboratively with Billing, Customer Success, Sales, AP, & Sales Operations


To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:

Familiarity with ASC 606 principles and revenue recognition standards
Degree in accounting
Strong problem solving, attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
Proactive mindset, team player.
Demonstrated experience with monthly and quarterly close
Proactive, independent, accountable, and responsible – must be eager to drive best practices, initiatives, and continuous process improvement
Understanding of SaaS accounting principles
