Job Description

AHG Lab is one of the largest independent venture studios in the Philippines based in Poblacion, Makati. Job Summary:
-AHG Lab is seeking a passionate and dynamic Community and Ecosystem Development Lead to support our mission of building a thriving startup ecosystem in the Philippines and beyond. This role will support the CEO and the Head of Portfolio Management with portfolio communications and coordination, ecosystem engagement, and connecting to talent. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in the tech or startup space, and be eager to drive initiatives that attract and nurture top talent.

Job Responsibilities:
Internal Portfolio Communications and Coordination:
- Support the Head of Portfolio Management in managing communications within the portfolio.
- Facilitate collaboration and information sharing between AHG Lab and its portfolio companies.
- ⁠Assist in organizing internal meetings, workshops, and events to foster a cohesive community.
Ecosystem Engagement:
- ⁠Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and meetups to represent AHG Lab.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key ecosystem partners, including other startups, VCs, incubators, and accelerators.
⁠- Gather insights on the startup ecosystem’s needs and challenges and advocate for solutions that benefit the community.
Talent Development:
- Lead the development and execution of the ecosystem talent program of AHG Lab
- Collaborate with universities to attract high-potential students and graduates.
- Manage program activities related to the young talent program.
- Serve as a guide for program participants, helping them integrate into the ecosystem and develop their skills and networks.
- Promote the Philippine tech startup space through various activities with industry partners, universities, and others

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in the tech or startup space, or a demonstrated strong interest through internships, work, or other relevant experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for the startup ecosystem and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for events and university outreach as needed.
