Grouting Foreman

Responsibilities
• To supervise, lead and deliver sites and contracts through effective operational management
• Delivery of project deadlines in a safe and timely manner, whilst always maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and team morale
• To direct works with a hands-on approach to the daily activities of contracts and projects
• To develop and implement plans for the success of all projects, ensuring that goals are either achieved or bettered with an emphasis upon service delivery, therefore effectively managing all operational activities
• To act as a focal point and leader for operations, steering and guiding contracts forward, ensuring total client commitment, coupled with increasing service levels and client focus
• Working with the commercial team to ensure effective resource and budget allocation and management
• Establish and lead regular review meetings with the staff to develop a proactive focus upon project safety, quality, personnel, labor, resources, rig and equipment management, scheduling, and programming
• To build and maintain a spirit of teamwork and cohesion between all levels of staff
• To establish and direct regular meetings with staff to discuss progress as well as providing the directors with reports, and liaise with other senior managers regarding operating policy and project deliverables
• Report to the directors regarding any potential project risks or problems that could impact upon the business

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Demonstrable experience in overseeing, managing or leading various project-based drilling & grouting techniques, or slope and ground stabilization activities, with the ability to mobilize various complex rigs, equipment, teams, and crews
• Reading and understanding of site / project specifications and drawings
• A good understanding of adopting varied techniques pertaining to ground / site conditions
• A full awareness of project specifications and other contract documents
• An ability to produce reports that are easily digested based on gathering large amounts of technical information from multiple sites
• Highly organized and effective, with the ability to plan and schedule your own workload with the minimum of supervision
• To have run contracts and site operations with a diplomatic and pragmatic approach, coupled with a hands-on attitude to clients, sub-contractors, and people management
• To possess senior level leadership and management experience, therefore able to demonstrate a tenacious, lead from the front approach to delivery
• Possess an excellent understanding of the operations process, along with the ability to manage and develop sites both technically and commercially
• A motivator and manager of others who can evaluate problems or issues and offer appropriate solutions
