Bilingual Medical VA

Purple Cow is actively looking for Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant who can work with us onsite. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including patient data management, scheduling appointments, processing prescriptions, and providing administrative support to medical staff.

Responsibilities:

- Assist patients and healthcare providers by managing appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups in both Spanish and English language.
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information about medical services, and resolve issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff, including translating medical information when necessary.
- Support the medical team with administrative tasks, such as processing medical forms, managing patient databases, and coordinating telehealth appointments.
- Participate in telehealth sessions as needed, facilitating communication between patients

Qualifications:

- Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English Language (native or near-native proficiency).
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution is a plus.
- At least 2-3 years as Spanish Medical VA.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare management software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, but not required.
