Job Description

Functions:
Plan, design, and execute software testing strategies and methodologies.
Lead and manage a team of testers, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and provide regular updates on testing progress.
Conduct reviews of test deliverables and provide feedback for improvement.
Identify, prioritize, and escalate issues and risks to project stakeholders.
Perform test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using testing tools and software.
Collaborate with developers and other project team members to resolve defects and ensure product quality.
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Graduate of any bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.
Must have minimum of 4 years solid experience as a Test Lead.
Must have experience in handling a team.
Must have experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with testing tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA, or similar.
Must be knowledgeable in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Must be knowledgeable in Defect Life Cycle.
Knowledge in TOAD is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
