Job Description

The Financial Business Analyst provides support to the business and strategy activities by analyzing and interpreting data that will impact business processes and company success. This role is crucial in gathering data, creating reports, and developing visualizations that aid in understanding business performance, identifying opportunities, and guiding decision-making processes. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with team members, manage selected projects, and serve as a liaison between staff and management.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze data to support business decisions.
- Create detailed reports for internal teams and external clients.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to illustrate business performance.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and interpret data.
- Utilize graphs, infographics, and other methods to present data effectively.
- Prepare presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Identify specific business opportunities and propose ways to capitalize on them.
- Assist with project management for selected projects.
- Conduct data discovery, analysis, and modeling to support business insights.
- Develop and implement data analyses, leveraging collection systems and strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and management, analyzing and interpreting data for company procedures, policies, and workflows.
- Prepare, analyze, and summarize operational results for key stakeholders, creating reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of analytics projects, from requirements documentation to design and execution.
- Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend updates to business plans.
- Supervise the Accounting Specialist.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in a Business Analyst role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team player with a willingness to assist where needed.
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft 365 platform and expert-level skills in Excel. Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly while delivering -results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an innovative approach to business planning.
