Merchandising Manager

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing sales and profitability through strategic product selection, pricing, and presentation. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of merchandising, from developing and executing strategies to analyzing data and optimizing store layouts.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute merchandising strategies to curate the optimal product assortment for our stores.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to inform product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Develop and manage merchandising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product performance, identify sales opportunities, and address any merchandising issues.
- Design and oversee the creation of visually appealing and effective product displays that entice customers and promote brand identity.
- Collaborate with the marketing and buying teams to develop and implement cohesive promotional campaigns.
- Manage and motivate a team of merchandising associates to ensure successful execution of strategies.
- Stay current on retail trends, best practices, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Retailing, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail merchandising software (a plus).
- A creative mind with a passion for visual merchandising and storytelling.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
