Massage Therapist

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs, concerns, and goals.

2. Collaborate with dermatologists and estheticians to develop customized treatment plans that combine massage therapy with other skin care procedures, such as facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

3. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, discuss expected outcomes, and provide recommendations for ongoing skincare maintenance.

4. Maintain detailed records of client consultations, treatment plans, and progress notes to track outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

5. Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including sanitation and hygiene standards, to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.

6. Stay informed about developments in skincare and massage therapy techniques through ongoing education and professional development.

7. Collaborate with other members of the team, including estheticians, nurses, and medical assistants, to provide comprehensive skin care services.

8. Promote the benefits of massage therapy for skin health and overall wellness through client education and outreach efforts.

9. Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards, including respecting client confidentiality and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

10. Follows all practice policies and protocols.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.

12. Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law.

13. Communicates various promotions to clients.

14. Follows all practice policies and protocols.

15. Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas). Performs other duties as assigned.

16. Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.

17. Performs other duties as assigned.

18. Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).

19. Designs specific sessions based on members or guests individual needs.

20. Ensure the comfort of clients during massages.
