Job Description

About the role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in back-end development, capable of creating efficient and scalable PHP modules, and possess a strong understanding of front-end technologies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our websites and applications, as well as collaborating with our front-end developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Analyse website and application requirements to develop robust solutions, including the design and deployment of API services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable back-end code using PHP, emphasising API development and integration.
Build and optimise back-end applications.
Identify and troubleshoot application and code issues in a timely manner.
Integrate data storage solutions, both SQL and NoSQL databases, to support application functionality.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to fulfil integration requests and ensure cohesive functionality.
Test and finalise back-end features to ensure high performance and reliability.
Update and enhance application features based on feedback and performance analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Proven experience in PHP development, with knowledge of web frameworks such as Yii, Laravel, or CodeIgniter.
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Solid understanding of object-oriented PHP programming, MVC design patterns, and RESTful API principles.
Previous experience building scalable web applications and managing code repositories using Git and SVN
Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and their integration into PHP applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
Experience with testing tools and project management tools is a plus.

You will be required to work on-site once or twice a month
