Facilitating specimen collection from patients.
Evaluating patient samples for adequacy prior to testing and document unsatisfactory or unacceptable specimens.
Calibrating, verifying proper function, and performing operator level maintenance on laboratory machines and equipment.
Preparing and handles specimens for testing.
Using established laboratory protocol to perform laboratory tests and procedures.
Proper shipping out or sending out of specimens to local and international partners.
Ensuring daily/ month-end inventory is in place.
Answering and responds to patient, physician, and vendor questions and concerns.
Performing related duties such as encoding, releasing of results and other admin tasks.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly statistical reports.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to biosafety and infection prevention control procedures.
