We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a focus on maintaining and enhancing an existing software system. This role involves fixing existing bugs, conducting research to understand the current system, and helping to reintroduce the product into the market. The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in C# and experience with SQL Server, along with a willingness to work with older technologies.

What you’ll be doing:
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix existing bugs in the current software system.
Conduct thorough research to understand all components of the existing software.
Maintain and develop the software built over a decade ago, ensuring its stability and performance.
Communicate technical details and progress effectively with the team and stakeholders.
Work independently to manage and resolve issues without the need for a complete system rewrite.
Assist in the reintroduction of the product to the market.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Proficiency in C# programming language.
Experience with SQL Server for database management and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues and updates.
Comfortable working with and maintaining older software technologies.
Willingness to perform detailed research to fully understand the existing system.
Ability to work on a night shift and alternative schedules.
Interest in long-term maintenance and gradual development of existing technology.
Experience in reintroducing and supporting legacy software products in the market.
Able to work independently and take ownership of their work.
Initial full-time engagement for the first three months and a potential shift to part-time engagement based on project success and market response.
